Various determinants of voting behaviours are discussed along with their relation with Election manifesto. Election manifesto’s of important political parties for 2011 and 2016 state assembly elections were taken as base for this study. It also aims to prove that although there are various factors involved in the voting behaviour, the main impact of the voting behaviour and election result would be based on the election manifesto. The paper rounds off with conclusions and an agenda for future research in this area.</p> ER -
