This study aims to research output of photosynthesis indexed in the Web of Science database during 1989-2014. About 53,839 bibliographical records were down loaded from Web of Science database during 1989-2014. It is observed that its relative growth rates contracted progressively from 0.302 at 1989 to 0.116 in the year of 2014. The whole study period sample mean relative growth rate is 0.10. Contrary to this, the Doubling Time for publication of all sources in Photosynthesis research output decreased from 2.29 years in 1989 to 5.97 years in 2014 during the study period, doubling time value is 25.11 years.
