Abstract

This study examined the awareness and influencing features and factors of reference management software in university research scholars in  Tamil Nadu, in India Descriptive survey method was adopted for the study. The Web-based questionnaire was used to collect data for the study. The total population of the study is 200 people. Among  total responses,  177 was returned, which represents the response rate for the study is 88.50%. The findings of the study revealed that Mendeley is the most used reference management software by the research scholars.   It was recommended that research scholars should be trained on how to make use of the most used reference management software.
